The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the examination schedule for Constable (GD) in CAPFs, SSF, and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2026. In a new move to enhance candidate convenience, the Commission is introducing a “Preference for Weeks” facility.
The examination will be conducted across various centers nationwide from 27th April 2026 to 30th May 2026.
Candidates can now provide their order of preference for the following four examination windows:
Week 1: 27th April, 2026 – 2nd May, 2026
Week 2: 4th May, 2026 – 9th May, 2026
Week 3: 18th May, 2026 – 23rd May, 2026
Week 4: 25th May, 2026 – 30th May, 2026
Log In: Access your candidate account on the official SSC portal (ssc.gov.in) using your credentials.
Select Windows: Indicate your order of preference for all four windows based on your travel and preparation convenience.
Deadline: The facility is available from 11th April (15:00 hrs) until 15th April, 2026 (17:00 hrs).
Important Note: This is a limited-time window. Ensure you submit your preferences before the 15th of April to have a say in your exam scheduling.
Since there is a gap between Week 2 and Week 3 (10th–17th May), choosing later weeks might give you extra revision time, but slots may fill up based on the Commission’s allocation logic. Submit your choice early!
