The IBPS RRB Recruitment Exam is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) to recruit candidates for various positions such as Officers (Scale I, II, and III) and Office Assistants (Multipurpose) in Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) across India.

The IBPS RRB Exam 2024 offers recruitment for the following positions:

  • Officer Scale I (Assistant Manager)
  • Officer Scale II (Manager)
  • Officer Scale III (Senior Manager)
  • Office Assistant (Multipurpose)

  • Nationality: Must be an Indian citizen.

      • Officer Scale I: 18-30 years
      • Officer Scale II: 21-32 years
      • Officer Scale III: 21-40 years
      • Office Assistant: 18-28 years
    • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree is required in any discipline. Specific posts may require additional qualifications (e.g., Chartered Accountant for Officer Scale II).

    Candidates can apply online via the official IBPS website during the registration period. The process includes:
  • Filling out the application form
  • Uploading necessary documents (e.g., photograph, signature)
  • Paying the application fee

  • General/OBC: ₹850
  • SC/ST/PWD: ₹175

    Preliminary Exam:
    • Officer Scale I: Reasoning, General Awareness, Numerical Ability, English/Hindi Language, Computer Knowledge
    • Office Assistant: Reasoning, General Awareness, Numerical Ability, English/Hindi Language, Computer Knowledge
    • Officer Scale II & III: Professional Knowledge, Reasoning, Financial Awareness, English/Hindi Language, Computer Knowledge.

  • Officer Scale I: Preliminary Exam, Main Exam, Interview
  • Officer Scale II & III: Single Online Exam, Interview
  • Office Assistant: Preliminary Exam, Main Exam (no interview)

  • Understand the Syllabus: Get familiar with the exam pattern and syllabus.
  • Practice Regularly: Work on previous years’ question papers and take mock tests.
  • Time Management: Create and stick to a study schedule.
  • Stay Updated: Keep yourself informed about current affairs and banking knowledge.

Preliminary exam results are typically announced within a month after the exam. Main exam and interview results follow shortly thereafter.

Cut-off marks vary annually, depending on the exam's difficulty level and the number of candidates. These are released along with the results.
