The WBPSC Clerkship exam is held to recruit candidates for the positions of lower division assistant or lower division clerk, as well as other similar positions in the Secretariat, Directorates, District offices, and equivalent positions in regional offices (including Kolkata) under the Govt.
Candidates must have a pass certificate in the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education's Madhyamik Examination or its equivalent. The candidate must be fluent in Bengali (reading, writing, and speaking).
