The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has announced 300 openings for the positions of LIC Assistant Administrative Officer through an official notification on its website. The online application for the LIC AAO 2023 Examination had started from 15th January 2023.

AAO (IT)

A candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science Engineering, IT or Electronics, or an MCA Degree or MSC (Computer Science) degree from a recognized Indian University/Institution.


AAO (Chartered Accountant)

  • A candidate must hold a graduation degree from a recognized Indian University/Institution
  • The candidate should have qualified the Final exam of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and completed the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India’s Articles.
  • The candidate must be an ICAI Associate Member.
  • Candidates also need to provide their membership number, which will be verified with ICAI.

AAO (Actuarial)

  • A candidate must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized University.
  • A candidate needs to qualify papers CT1 and CT5, as well as four or more other papers of the examination set by the Institute of Actuaries of India / Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK
  • Candidates must provide their membership number, which will be verified with the Institute of Actuaries of India / Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK.

AAO (Rajbhasha)

  • Post Graduation Degree in Hindi/Hindi translation with English as one of subjects in graduation
  • Post Graduation Degree in English with Hindi as one of the subjects in Graduation
  • Post Graduation Degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as graduation subjects.

LIC AAO Exam 2023: Syllabus

LIC AAO 2023: Selection Process

In order to qualify for each stage of the LIC AAO examination, the candidate must properly understand the selection procedure.
