IBPS Clerk Examination 2024: Notification

The IBPS Clerk examination is organized annually by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) to recruit clerical positions in 11 public sector banks across the country. All participating banks utilize the Common Recruitment Process (CRP) to fill these vacancies. For the fiscal year 2024-25, IBPS will conduct the Clerk exam for the 14th time, hence it is referred to as IBPS Clerk CRP XIV.

IBPS Clerk 2024 Exam Pattern and Syllabus

The IBPS Clerk 2024 exam is conducted in two phases: Preliminary Examination and Mains Examination. Both stages are administered online.

IBPS Clerk Preliminary Examination

Penalty for Wrong Answers

 

  • Incorrect answers in both Preliminary and Mains Exams incur a penalty of one-fourth of the mark assigned to the question.
  • No penalty for questions that are left unanswered.

 

Final Score Calculation

 

  • Marks from the Preliminary Exam are not included in the final selection.
  • Only candidates who qualify the Mains Examination are considered for the final merit list.
  • The final merit list is based on the aggregate score out of 200 in the Mains Exam.
