SSC MTS Recruitment 2023 Exam

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will be organizing the SSC MTS Recruitment 2023 Exam, a nationwide examination to select individuals for non-gazetted, non-ministerial posts in Group-C of the General Central Service. SSC MTS 2023 Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the SSC MTS 2023 Exam, candidates need to fulfil three key criteria. SSC MTS Citizenship:

The candidate has to fall under either of the categories:

  • A citizen of India.
  • The subject of Nepal
  • The subject of Bhutan.

SSC MTS Age Limit

The Recruitment Rules of various User Departments outline the age limits for the posts as follows:

  • Candidates must be at least 18 years old and should not exceed 25 years old. They should be born between 02-01-1999 and 01-01-2006.
  • For the age range of 18-27 years, candidates should be born between 02-01-1997 and 01-01-2006.
  • In addition to the aforementioned Age Requirement, candidates belonging to reserved categories receive age relaxation as per Government Rules.
  • Regarding the Havaldar position in CBIC and CBN, Department of Revenue, candidates must be at least 18 years old and not exceed 27 years old. They should be born between 02-01-1996 and 01-01-2006 to be eligible for applying.

SSC MTS Educational Qualification

To be eligible for the SSC MTS 2023 Exam, candidates must have completed and passed the Matriculation (10th class) examination or its equivalent from a recognized State Board, University, or Institute.

The updated exam structure for SSC MTS Paper-I has been published together with the SSC MTS Notification 2023. In Session II, for each incorrect answer, there will be a deduction of 1 mark, while Session-I does not carry any negative marking.
