Note: For SC/ST/PWD categories, there is no requirement for a minimum of 50% marks. Only a graduate degree with a pass class is all required for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.

Candidates who qualify the main examination need to undergo language proficiency test (LPT). This test will be administered in the Official/Local Language of the specific state. Those who are not proficient in the Official/Local Language of the state will not be able to continue in the selection process and will be disqualified.
The recruitment procedure of RBI Assistant involves three stages: the prelims stage, the main stage, and the language skills assessment.RBI Assistant Prelims and Main Exam have a negative marking of 0.25 marks. It is compulsory to clear all three stages to get selected for RBI Assistant Posts.
